| In an effort to decrease
burglaries and theft, P.B.S.O recommends you make
yourself an undesirable target and secure your belongings
from plain-view. Protect yourself by locking your
home, business, and vehicle. Sheriff's Deputies will
be patrolling neighborhoods looking for personal property
left out in plain view. If discovered a courtesy notification
will be left at your door.

- Secure windows/doors
- Keep perimeter well lit
- Lock vehicles in driveway
- Motion sensors/alarms
- DO NOT hide spare keys outside
- Timers for interior lighting

- Security cameras
- Use deadbolts Grade 2 or higher
- Trim hedges/shrubs
- Don’t advertise your absence
- Plant thorny shrubbery near window
